POLL: engagement rings

took a while to get the one i wanted..damn claw kept dropping it back into all the rest of the stuff
 
$1600 or so. Then once we got married, I traded it back in on a $5000 ring.................

I got her a small diamond, but it was a perfect one. Colorless and flawless. It was a 1/4 carrot or 1/3 carrot...it was $1200 at Zales. If I had more money, I would have spent it.
