Listen to their lyrics. The song speaks only of our mortality and our relative insignificance, not the absence of an "after life."

In fact, IIRC, the members of Kansas are religious.

I voted "Just yes". Even if I were to live forever, I would be just as insignificant. It's actually kind of a relief, knowing that nothing I do will ever matter. What a terrible burden it must be to be important.
