The audio has this bad tendency not to work well on modern systems.
Run it in VMWare, or build up a Pentium-class box. Those classic gaming urges are worth the hassle of digging up those components.
JonoF's Duke Nukem 3D port: Haven't tried this one.
Rancidmeat port: Tried this one. Worked very well.
Linux port: No linux box.
Want to play online? Use DukesterX to set up the games.
Not enough? There's also a (buggy) port for Xbox. Do a search for "Duke3d X" at Google.
