My wife bought some of the wet stuff a few months ago. I used it to "finish up" a couple of times. Never liked the wet butt feeling.

wet is a good finisher ;) store brands of baby wipes are fine, no need to pay 20% more for name brand.

Yeah, you aren't supposed to only use the wet ones. The packages even have a warning label that you shouldn't flush more than two sheets at a time. Finish up with them, and that's all you really need.

Some brands, Charmin wet wipes for instance, fray and break apart.

Some Brands, Lever 2000 work fine, but are not flushable.

I generally use Cottonelle brand, and have not found anything else to rival its quality.

I usually use a huge wad of TP to eliminate any possibility of hand/ass contact. These things look to be small and probably expensive to use in huge wads so no.

I bought myself the baby-wipe equivalent from costco... it's like a shower in a box! :) I use them to "finish" with as well...

lol......

We've been using babywipes for years and years.

Just using toilet paper is disgusting. Nomatter how hard you try, when you wipe with the baby wipe, you will almost always find that the wipe has taken care of something that the toilet paper wouldn't.

I can't feel clean without using a wipe.

And of course you use some TP after the wipe to dry yourself.

I wonder if these are less expensive than baby wipes.

Years here too.
It amazes me that folks either don't do this or shower after a crap.
These are not cheaper than baby wipes, just easier to flush.

The amount of wetness these leave behind is about the amount of sh!t left behind from a normal wipe.
And, you can always finish wet, and then do a final round with dry paper.

Ah.

They're probably thin, then? The baby wipes we use are nice and thick, you don't really even have to fold them once first, although I do.

We've never flushed the wipes, since we have often lived in houses with septic tanks, and they wreak havoc on them. Our current place has a regular sewage system, but the toilet flush is weak, and they cause more problems than they solve, so...

Since they're only used for finish up, theres barely anything on them anyway. They just get folded over and thrown in the trash.

And no, it doesen't stink or anything silly like that. The wipes have enough chemicals/fragrance on them to kill just about anything, I'm sure. :p
