As a grad student it's usually jeans or khakis and a button-down in the winter or shorts and T-shirts in the summer (no pictures or words or anything).

We don't really have a dress code here. I used to come in wearing a t-shirt and jeans (some of which would have ripped up cuffs, heh) before I decided to start looking presentable. Now I wear khakis and polos on most days.

I sit around in my undies at home all day while working (and I LOVE it)

TECHNICALLY, it's dressy, like slacks or khakis and a nice dress shirt/nice khaki pants or something for the ladies, or a dress or something..

Noone ever informed me of this when I sgined up but I wear jeans all the time, just found out yesterday there was a dress code when someone @ the pharmacy across the street was all "Ooh look at you all casual'ed out" and I was like "What, noone said you had to wear a nice dress and thigh highs! Though I might add you look greaT! ;)" And at that she kinda laughed and said "I wish I could wear jeans!" and I asked someone else about it later when I came back and they said there WAS a dress code. Noone ever said anything to me so iunno, I never worried about it.. :p

Though I might add, I rarely wear jeans. And I usually wear a nice button up collar'ed dress shirt, or some sweet silk pimp shirt. I think these middle aged MILF's masturbate on lunch in their car 'cause I'm like, the youngest, sexiest guy here. Unless you'd like to count the two other men here, Jack the 66 year old companies accountant and Dennis the 52 year old companies 1/2 partner. :p

There's no real dress code at my work other than no hats and keep it appropriate. We work with people so no shirts that could be offensive or clothes that are overly revealing it.

Business dress without the tie. Tie's are hopefully moving OUT. They're the most uncomfortable creations in the men's fashion world and I honestly think they look stupid.

I usually wear Polo shirts and jeans with casual shoes. Everyone usually wears this in my IT department.

Dress shirt, dress pants, and tie (optional, but recommended) during the week. Friday and Saturday, Khakis and polo / casual button up shirt are fine.

Chicks dig muscular men in polos too. :p I prefer using the tie an enigmatic fashion instrument. Wearing it every day is stupid. heh

Funny you should mention it.

We got this just an hour ago:

As the warm weather approaches, we'd like to remind employees that although we follow a business casual dress policy, we do expect employees to dress appropriately for the office. Listed below are a few examples of inappropriate office attire. This list in not all inclusive, but gives general guidelines as to inappropriate office wear.

Shorts
"Belly or Half" shirts
Mini-skirts
Leggings, spandex, and lycra
Tank tops, t-shirts, halter tops
Athletic wear - sweat pants and sweat shirts
Flip flops
We appreciate your adherence to our Business Casual Dress Policy.

At one of my jobs (computing site consultant), anything goes - shorts, t-shirts, flip flops, whatever. As long as we wear our nametag, we're fine.

At my other job, it's business casual - dress shirt, khakis or a nice polo.
