Poll: Dragon Ball vs. Dragon Ball Z vs. Dragon Ball GT, which is the best series?

What did y'all like if you have seen it all, I actually loved the movies and DBZ, DB wasn't great and DBGT was ok (SSJ4 made it worthwhile), but other than that DBGT was a run for money , what 'bout you? BE SURE TO TAKE THE POLL!!

I think the original DB was cute and funny.. I just couldnt follow up the rest..it was out of control, characters pop out of everywhere..relentless fightings

Most americans haven't seen DBZ GT, DB, and the others listed. There's a reason and that's that DBZ is the best of all of them. The American version of DBZ is terrible and bastardizes one of my favorite shows.

I agree with ltk007 on the "Americanized version" thing.

DB was cute, DBZ was awesome, and DBGT (and the later DBZ eps, actually) was wacky and somewhat confusing.

ltk007: even though DBZ is bastardized here, I still wouldn't call it "terrible". It's still 40x better than anything passing itself off as "action" animation here in the states. The voices, music, censorship, and plot changes may suck, but the artwork is still great and people still beat the crap out of each other.

I agree with you all; but can you really blame the censors? I mean its America! With these shootings and all you never know what someone will do if they see Dragon ball!
(Kame...Hame..Ha! Oh no!) DBZ was a good series, and America isn't making it bad they are (bleeping) it up! The DVD's, I must say, are a good buy, they include the *original* Japanese version (the subtitling is a bit off, but other than that it ain't bad!)

joshpokéball: the DVDs are way too expensive, though. I mean, imagine what a set of DVDs with all of the DBZ eps would cost. I'd say about $67,065,536 dollars. If they were cheaper, I'd buy them, and maybe they will be cheaper once Cartoon Network burns through all the episodes.

If new Dragon Ball stuff ever comes out (which I hope it does), I pray that it will not be some crap version like what we get now.

Your right, the DVD's are a bit on the steep side. That's why I purchase fansubs, I am pretty sure whoever sold them to me is doing something illegal but thats for the government to decide. So if you can't go the DVD way, at least go the fansub way. I am telling you DBZ, DBGT, and all Dragon Ball is something you don't wanna miss!

Actually, I've said only one thing about you. When you had the is suck list, I said the pokeball network just so I could be the first one .

And I'm not trying to bring you down when I say the new episodes of DBZ suck, but they DO in my opinion. I can't stand watching them because the voice acting is horrid. Another thing that bothers be about DBZ is how long it takes for things to happen. Like when Goku was trying to get to Namek (sp?) when the Ginyu force had arrived. I think he had an hour left to travel, but it took around one and a half weeks of episodes for him to get there.

I'm sick of typing.

Very true, I agree with your opinions. Also the fact that when Freeza and Gokou were on Namek when it was blowing up that it took them like 4 episodes to fight when there was only 1 minute left for the planet to explode.

Having seen all the episodes of DB, DBZ and DBGT I can say that after The Saiyan Saga Drag on ball get's annoyingly boring. The episodes last forever and the death rebirth thing gets played out. I was hoping after the Majin Saga they would sttop but I guess they decided to drag on the ball some more to GT.

Yep. Too bad the voice actors think they are good. Specially the one for Gokou, sounds like a fricking girl, I hope they change the voice actor when goku grows later on in the series and he actually sounds man-ish!
