Poll: Dog owners - how do you feed your dog(s)?

Just a quick poll cause I'm curious...

1 16oz cup full in the morning and one in the evening.

Puppy...3/4 cup twice a day. Some breeds you can leave a bowl full out all day, other breeds will sit there and eat til their stomachs damn near explode.

No, the latter breeds usually do explode - right back onto the floor. YUK!

I just got my dog but I was told one pint in the morning and one pint in the evening works well.

Feed breakfast and dinner. Don't know exact amounts... probably two cups for both (I just sort of pour a bit in).

Plus the occasional table scrap

buster (bull-mastif/lab) couple years old, gets a large bowl in the morning
buka (boxer) gets as much as he wants throughout the day. he's only 6 months old, and is growing like a weed. so he gets as much as he can eat till he stops growing.

I fill a bowl in the morning and then just wait till it's empty. Normally takes two or three days to be empty though. My doggy knows how to control his food intake.

One half of their daily amount in the evening & the other half in the morning.

We usually fill the bowl once a day. Probably about two cups a day (~35 lb Aussie mix)
I figure that's enough because she never acts like she's starving or anything. Sometimes the food will just sit in the bowl all day long before she decides she wants to eat it.

Funny thing is that she doesn't like to eat out of the bowl. Usually she will flip the bowl over to spill the food, then let it sit on the floor for at least an hour or so before she decides to eat it. Weird dog.
