CBS's video feeds are horrible. And the CBS stations around here(Omaha, NE) are bastards. The only major broadcast company that doesn't provide HD feeds (Fox, ABC, and NBC all do).

CBS sucks for NFL and College Football. Fox is better for NFL, and ESPN is the best for College Football. I tend to dislike ABC when Fouts and Jackson are on too.

I kind of like Madden. To me, he is the best announcer around when it comes to explaining a play. On any play he sees he can immediately break it down and explain it simply. It's pretty obvious that he deserved those super bowl wins. On everything else, of course, he sounds like a moron.

Comparing the three pre-game shows (usually on at 11:00 - noon CDT), Fox and ESPN are BY FAR the best, given that Shannon Sharpe (and Deion before him) are the worst morons in the history of broadcasting. And I like Marino on Inside the NFL on HBO, but he just doesn't work on CBS. I don't like Boomer either.

Worst announcers during games are the three idiots on Sunday Night Football. I don't care what Theisman did on the field, that guy shouldn't be allowed to broadcast to a national audience.

Best picture in HD is BY FAR CBS. Fox and ESPN are equal, but whatever CBS does, it fvcking rocks. Just incredibly beautiful.

the fox braodcast is so much better. something about the way that the cbs broadcast looks just doesnt do it for me. it seems to play and boring. the fox broad adds color and just seems nicer to my eyes. but hey... i could just be insane to.

so the truth! I have to agree - most any commentation crew is better than CBS' best. When you watch a game on CBS, its best to have SIRIUS and listen to the broadcast with the picture. Although, when there is a questionable play, I don't know what the point of having a CBS broadcast is, cuz they'll never reshow something worthwhile, I mean hell, half the time they're too busy showing a picture of a sideline or something and miss a whole play. Absolutely Pathetic!
