Yes because,
1. They are there
2. CompScrewUSA = (50) 4X $10
3. Plex burns anything
4. I still only do DAO on 'em
5. I never get around to erasing them
6. I could live without 'em

Nope, never. I've burned around 500CD's but not the first CD-RW. Not worth the time and effort when regular CD-R's are ten cents a piece. If I found a great deal on CD-RW's (i.e. nearly free), I would probably use them like Randy and never erase them.
I use it to back up my c:image that I use Drive Image for, incase I want to restore my HD.
I also use it for tempor drivers, patches, pictures, etc. Then when i have alot of those i want to make permant, I will copy it all over to a cdr disk.
I use the rewriting feature when I know that I have to upgrade drivers at someone's house and don't want to download it there (cable at home, modem there ). I don't see the need to waste CD-Rs for that type of stuff. But, for everything else I just use CD-Rs because they are very cheap and more compatible
On my (old) HP burner, I would use RW all the time. If I was backing up a retail CD, there was no garantee that the burn would be successful. By using RW media, I could find out first without wasting a CD.
The burner broke though, so I guess that turns my answer to a firm and solid NO.
Have my Ricoh Mp7040 (20x,4x,4x) @ 7060 mode (24x,6x,4x) for about a year now. I've yet to use my RW feature, and I have not yet been able to burn at 6x, even w/ CD's that support up to 8x. Anyone got an idea why it won't burt at 6x?
