No, but the company used to make it worth my while. I'm a project manager, so I work whatever hours are needed to get the project in on time. I am "eligible" for up to a 20% annual merit bonus, and until last year I usually got 90% of that (which is above average). They changed our compensation structure, so despite no change in performance, I got less than 50% of my eligible bonus last year. They also eliminated our incentive share program two years ago (effectively an additional bonus that ties to company performance that pays out two years after the award).

By end of this year I expect my total compensation to drop 10-15% due to the bonus changes and my incentive shares expiring. Since my company seems to still expect me to work 60-70 hours a week, for less money, I also expect to be working somewhere else.

Forget you wrote that an hr ago? lol

and no, no overtime for me I just add in the hours. Wouldn't matter anyway, I have a set amount I can make for the next couple of months. When the money is gone so is my job.

Salary exempt. My company is pretty lax though... I can work from home whenever I want and come and go as I please, as long as I'm in for the meetings I have to attend. In return, I stay late some days, come in early others. Yeah I know I'm not as special as people like spidey, but I like my job, I like my work, and I'm happy with life. Money != happiness.

Yes and 1.5. Have worked 1300 hours of OT the past 2 years. Makes a big difference.

1,300 hour each year or total?

I worked just over 1,500 hours of OT(one year) about 4 years ago. More than doubled my salary. Nearly broke me but it paid my home off. Won't be doing that again....ever!

It depends. Usually no, I get "comp time" which I can take off later but the hours disappear if not used up within a few weeks. Comp time is at regular rate. For special rush projects where a client has agreed to bear the cost, I get overtime at time and a half. In a really good year I can get 500-600 hours of overtime. Most years it is closer to 300.
