POLL: Do you wear glasses/contacts?

My vision sucked long before I used computers regularly. I've been wearing glasses since I was 10 years old (21 now).

I wear safety glasses at all times*. Can never be too careful. The outer edge of a CD ROM is moving over 400 mph. It could shatter and little bits of data could go straight into your eye.






*I really do wear safety glasses at all times. Nothing to do with computers though, they are required for portions of my job so it's less hassle and less expensive to have all my glasses made as safety glasses. I've gotten so used to the protection that if I ever went to contacts I would probably poke an eye out within a week.

I could so spot an ATOT member walking down the street by their prescription safety glasses.

Edit: And this proves it- Geeks = glasses. And I used to have 19/20 vision, better than 20/20, but now I have slightly worse than 20/20. But I'm told I am sexy in glasses. 😉

hmm, logic:

1. Geeks = glasses
2. Glasses = me
3. Me = sexy
4. Sexy = Geeks (transitive property)
