I used to when I was a little kid. I do remember Hulk Hogan and Ultimate Warrior -- they were my favorites. :)

<< Nope, real athletic sports I find more captivating. >>

That's a silly thing to say. That'd be like asking, "Do you watch the Simpsons?" and replying, no I prefer real horror movies.

<< just take the thin aluminum trash can they use. you hit with that the way they hit each other and it won't hurt me. >>

Okay, so wrestling would be more appealing to you if they used all real props, and killed each other on a nightly basis?

you wanna do me a favor and quit shifting your point everytime i make a new one.

what you just said makes it obvious that the pain they endure is mocked up.

and when someone dies or gets really messed up its because someone missed a que or the stunt was messed not because its really dangerous.

edit: again i ask you to read the third and second to last lines of my post a while back

That's the point of a message board, if you don't like it, leave.

I said that because you wouldn't believe otherwise. The truth is, the material is rigged to not hurt..much. But, obviously you can't take a shot to the head with a steel metal chair without pain inflicted. And over time, the blows will add up and long term consequences are felt.

These guys are hurt on a regular basis. It's a risky business, and to be able to somersault off a 10 foot ladder through a couple tables, and NOT have it hurt, would be quite an accomplishment.[/b]

I suggest YOU read it yourself..if that's the style you want to play..

just wanna say. holy crap i think we might agree on something.

the pain they inflict is real just the level of it is hyped. you really piledrive a guys head into cement there's a good chance he would die, the moves are designed to limit pain, so it looks more intense then it is.

and i really am so over this thread now.

Pick a material. Any material on earth and try to make a sound as loud as the aluminum shot to the head. Once you tried this, tell me it doesn't hurt. Remember, the sounds got to be at least as lound as the head shot.

WWF does not target little kids. They target young adults and little kids just happen to be fascinated with whatever young adults are fascinated with.

ok, you couldnt do half the things they can in 4 lifetimes...since they are crap,i guess you are less than crap

and they can kick your ass.

R E S P E C T. no one is here knocking your job.
>>

Geeze, you're bright. Did I say wrestlers are crap? No. I said wrestling was crap. And, in the real world it doesn't matter if they can "kick my a**." I certainly hope you're not older than 13 if you still think "kicking someone's a**" is a valid way to settle a dispute.

I don't know if you understand the difference between respecting a person and respecting what they do for a living. I don't know the wrestlers personally, but I do have respect for their humanity. That doesn't mean I have to respect what they do for a living -- just like I don't have to have respect for what porn stars do.

And nobody here needs to knock my job -- I'll do it myself. :)

Here's one simple question, how much of it have you ever seen?[/i] >>

Lifetime combined? Probably a few hours. Enough to know that I don't want to see any more of it. One doesn't have to stare at an ugly painting for a long time to realize it's an ugly painting.
