POLL: Do you use the search function when making a new topic?

Do you check first for other current threads on the same topic, fearing the 'repost wrath'? Or do you just post it, and say 'hope this isn't a repost'?

yes, i do. but sometimes ppl do not use the key words i am looking for and i end up posting a repost. whatever... pads my post count, so...
