I use them for flight sim games only.

1942 yea. people using mice to fly planes.. as obvious as someone playing a fps with kb only or joystick, and just as easy to take out.

As of now I don't use any but when I get BF2 I probably will.

Not anymore. I used to use my Gravis Firebird for pretty much everything, but then I moved to the PC from the Macintosh. That joystick was so awesome I even used it to play Warcraft II. Then I got some Logitech joystick which broke in three days.

I use gamepads for console ports (e.g. Lego Starwars, NSFU2)

Everything else, I use WASD+Mouse...

I wouldn't even attepmt any sort of flying game without a joystick.

Gamepad for emulators; that's about it. All I've got right now is a Gravis Gamepad pro - the buttons work just fine, but the D-pad is lousy. Suggestions for a replacement?
