I sure as hell don't. It doesn't improve my sleep or anything. Its just creates unnecessary laundry to do.

The single and only reason why I do is because my g/f says you have to or else the bed just doesn't match. So she went out and bought a complete set with one in it. Whoopee.

Jerboy: You have a dangerously low level of testosterone in your polls.

Skirts are for girls, and girl -like men.
Are you a girl, or a girl-like man?

Posts like that are for males insecure with their own sexuality.

Yup, my girlfriend insists. :) But I don't see how it creates much "unnecessary laundry"... you don't have to wash it very often!

I voted "I'm a male and I use a bed skirt." The bed looks like ass w/o a skirt on it. However, I DO NOT have the matching curtains!!! That's going overboard.

To me, a bed doesn't look right with these nice sheets, pillow cases and shams...with a hairy-ass boxspring with stains on it stickiing out. :Q

"Gee Mike, how'd you get chocolate syrup and lime jello stains on your boxspring?" Um, gee, look at the time? Shouldn't you be on your way????

We arent talking about the bed posts, dude. We are talking about the bed skirt. And if you meant skirt when you said post, then yes, I agree wholehartedly.

Also, you need to chill out.

The bed is for sleeping on. I don't give a damn if it matches or not and bed skirt doesn't really serve any purpose. If it has a clean sheets and pillow cover I'm okay with it.

A bed skirt doesn't cover up the box spring, it covers up whatever holds the box spring up.. (ie the metal frame that the whole thing sits on)

I don't, because my bed sits on a frame/headboard/footboard combo that keeps me from needing one. My boxspring has a fitted sheet on it that only needs to get washed maybe once a year...

PS: If you want to shut the ladies up, buy a down comforter and a down "feather bed." (you sleep underneath the comforter and on top of the feather bed) It will be absolutely _impossible_ to keep the bed looking neat, but the instant anyone lays on it they will love it.
