POLL: Do you think the BMW Z4 looks better than the Z3 (exterior design only)?

I'm just curious. The Z4 is definitely the better car underneath the skin, but do you think the exterior design improved on the Z3? Most of us have probably seen the Z4 in person now, so I'm just wondering.

Ya the Z4 is awesome. I test drove it the other day... it was pretty sweet. The inline 6 is most definately welcome. If I had the cash, I'd buy one... but I don't.

Interesting, I didn't think the Z4 would win the poll so handily, I always see people ripping on its styling.

I guess people liked the Z3's styling even less, though.

I like the Z3 better...especially the M Roadster. The Z4 looks like "flamed surfaced" sh!t.

May I ask why? Many people say this but I don't really see the resemblance. They're both roadsters which are often driven by women but the styling is quite different IMO.

The more I see the Z4, the more I like it. Pictures really don't do it justice, but it is an aggressive looking car with almost Z8 proportions.

i'm thinking that the z4 will age better.

the z3 looked soo good when it first came out, but now it looks clunky.

Saying Miata is a POS? it will give you as much fun going on twisty roads.. but I will still get myself an older MR2 Turbo... it will probably spank a Z3 I guess.

fun for dollar does not always = good overall, performance wise the miata is a nice car, but from a build standpoint it stinks, plus they really are not that nice off of the lot, generally some upgrades are needed...sure great bang for the buck, but from a materials and build standpoint it is a piece of sheat compaired to the BMW or any higher end car like an Audi TT.

?? I've always read that Miatas had good build quality and reliability. I've never owned or spent much time on one so I can't say for sure... although the interior does seem a little drab. That doesn't mean it has bad build quality though.

In fact, I don't think I've ever read a negative review of the Miata in any car mag/website. Not that I always trust what they say, but few cars are as universally praised.
