I was talking to my Calculus 3 teacher about how I found geometric subjects more difficult than just pure numerical or analytical subject.
In Cal 3 we're working on plane intersections, hyperbolic surfaces, etc. These things give me problems and have since I was young.
Algebra? Fine. Work in another number system? Fine. Ask me to draw a shape from an equation? Huge problem.
She said that people think in different ways and that I'm not a geometric thinker. I hate graphs. If I sit and look a graphs, I just get lost, but if I only look at equations, I can usually understand what's going on.
I love proofs, I hate drawing curves.
How about you?
