This poll is mostly for the people living in dorms/apartments with a communal laundry facility.

I love to help out people who aren't around to get clothes out of their dryer.

I just add some kethcup to the load, drop in $1, and set the dryer to high heat.

lol on the floor...thats bad...I at least try to put it on the dryer. The best is when you know a girl took your clothes out because they're all neatly folded :)

Yes. If you're going to ignore your laundry all day, it goes on top of the dryer.

I do but only if they're in there for hours and hours. I hate it when my laundry gets taken out because my idiot roommate can't ask or wait 10min.

Yes. I agree; that's exactly what I do. In fact, the second it stops, if there are no other machines available, your clothing goes on top of the dryer.

Dang.

That's three times. Only three times in almost as many years that I've agreed with notwhateverthehellhisnameisnottoday.

my gf was living in corporate housing last year and she had a few friends in there. One day we were doing our laundry and we had to wait on a dryer. She wanted to wait and I was like "Screw it, this person is taking too long". So I pulled out everything (which included womens underwear). Then we went upstairs. A few minutes later one of her friends comes up to us and is like "dude you'll never believe this, someone pulled out all my underwear out of the dryer! How embarassing."

My gf and I just looked and each other and didn't say anything :D

i usually give them a 20 minute window for error in there time calculations any longer than that and I have to get my task done so I'll do whatever it takes. Except if it is a load of thongs and bras I would feel like a scumbag if i got caught emptying someone's personal items out of the dryer.

Neglected loads go on top of the dryer.

The worst is when they leave it in the washer for hours, and I have 3 or more loads to wash. I have to run from the basement to the third floor to get a garbage bag, then I lay it out on the floor put the clothes on that.

I don't put anything directly on the floor. That's too rude.

I don't do it because I'm paranoid that if the person comes back while my clothes are drying, that they might spit in there or otherwise screw around with my clothes. And yes, I'm a pansy ;)

no, it's rude to take other's clothes out of the dryer.

But, I do like to take a poop in the dryer with their clothes, and then turn the dryer back on

i only do it if the clothes have been in there for a while and i really need to get in. otherwise, i can wait for a while. also: my dorm was so tiny, i could generally tell who owned what and just go tell them. most of the people didnt care if i took it out and brought it to them, either.

I agree. The worst are people who just leave it. I got caught a few times and the girl (usually girls) would have some dumb excuse like "yeah I went to the mall for five hours. Oops". I mean what are these people thinking.

I tend to take the girls' laundry out rather than guy's. I don't want to touch guys' boxers and their clothes.

I once had a girl take my clothes out only after the dryer had stopped for less than 5 mins. What a ho.

Yup. There are plenty of times when you can't do anything about inconsiderate people, so better take advantage of it when you can.

I just leave them in there and camp out to make sure I get first dibs on the next free washer/dryer. I live in a huge apartment complex and there's usually several machines free, but I got stuck doing laundry one crappy Sunday afternoon and spent over an hour in the laundry room with a book waiting for a free dryer.

I'd feel like a scumbag if someone caught me emptying their clothes out of the dryer, although the people who don't come and get their clothes within a few minutes piss me off. If I have a choice, I'll do laundry first thing on Saturday mornings when the manager unlocks the laundry room at 8:00, so I can beat the rush....

I wait 15 minutes then I stick it on a chair or something. I try to get down to my dryer a few minutes before it finishes, but I have had people take my stuff out not more than 1 minute after it finishes, as I am walking in, and that is just rude.
