By calling them terrorists you have negated the results of your own poll. By instinct we are going to say no we dont support terrorists. Change it to something like rebels or freedom fighters. Also, it is nearly impossible for any of us to fathom the divide that is apparent between these two groups. I am sure it is 100's of years in the making.

One man's terrorist is another man's freedom fighter. I haven't kept myself informed enough to give a clear answer but I do find the trend towards ethnic statehood most disturbing. Many minorities in the world have very legitimate grievances but this does not automatically entitle them to statehood. Secession should be used only as a last resort, the whole idea of establishing new ethnic states is very dangerous and will only lead to more conflict down the road.
