Poll: Do you stop at stop signs?

How often do you stop at stop signs? Hopefully this poll will be a little better than the other one. I pretty much always stop unless its 3Am in the morning and im driving down some neighborhood road and im pretty much 100% sure there are no car in either direction.
 
I slow down to the point where I could stop if I needed to. (5-10mph)

If I see a car coming, I stop.

If I don't, I just resume speed.

Mostly country out where I live.

For the city though, I always stop 🙂
 
Depends what you mean by it, I get the feeling you mean not even slow down at all with the options

I either stop, or if there aren't any other cars, I keep it in second and come close to stopping but down stop so I don't have to change gears and I can keep going.
 
Most of the time I do. I'm a lot more careful since I got a $152 ticket back in May for running a stop sign (out in the middle of nowhere where I hadn't even passed a single car on that road) by a frickin DNR cop
 
cops here are all about stop sign busting, I've been ticketed for not stopping at yeild signs here. (and there was no one to yield to, he claimed it was a stop sign, I fought it in court with a picture of the intersecion with the yeild sign in it)
 
always. I don't wanna risk getting a ticket. Stopping is not that bad anyways. How much time will you save by not stopping anyway? 5 seconds??
 
I always stop at every sign, and don't piggyback, but I do a rolling stop sometimes, when there are obviously no other cars.
 
Why would anyone ever not stop at a stop sign? Do you run red lights when you feel like it? How about drive the wrong direction on a one way street?:disgust:

Never ran a red light. Though I did drive in the wrong direction for about a 100 feet on a one-way street.
 
I always try to come to a complete stop no matter what. You never know when a cop might be lurking somewhere. Plus, I try to break stereotypes, so I try my hardest to be a cautious, considerate young male driver.
 
Complete stops most of the time. Maybe not the recommended 3 seconds, but the car goes to a halt at least. Nice poll BTW.
 
Most every time... the worst I do is that if nobody is there I come to an almost stop (1 mph or less) and then go through.
