I don't often b/c I hate it. Although there is this one little bar in Collegeville PA that is not karaoke, but they have a huge song book and kickass pianist. A lot of theatrical types go there and it's one huge sing-along. It's like karaoke...except the singers can actually sing. I go there when the opportunity presents.

I would have to be so hammered that I wouldn't be able to stand up nevermind read words off a prompt and attempt to sing them back 😉

I agree. Especially when it's not entirely appropriate...when someone suddenly starts to belt out their own version of a song they just heard on the radio, it makes me want to punch their effing voicebox through the back of their neck.
 
Karaoke sucks. I sing along with songs if I like em, am in a good mood, and am sure no one hears it, but wouldn't want to hear the song with just my singing rather than the artist.
