<< Virginia here, and hells yes! It's so good, you people need to try it. >>

yep, virginia here too--- a barbecue sandwhich without coleslaw is like a cheeseburger without the cheese

nasty? i'm sorry you feel that way. actually, i couldn't care less. 🙂

the reason we put coleslaw on our que is because we have sophistacted pallets. 🙂 you see, we appreciate the textural contrasts between the hot, cooked meat and the fresh, crisp, cold cabbage.

Especially when its a sweet bbq sauce and the slaw is loaded with vinegar... yum. <---- stuck in Tennessee

I am originally from South Florida and never thought of putting coleslaw on a BBQ sandwich. Three years ago when I got stationed here in Northern Florida, (Fort Walton Beach), myself and some guys from the shop went to a BBQ joint and they put it on. Both were from North Carolina and said that I really had to try it. Well needless to say I am hooked. I won't eat a BBQ sandwich without slaw now!

Guess I know what's for lunch tomorrow 😀
