Poll: Do you play online games?

I've never really cared much about jumping into online games, although I'm a gaming junkie. Anyway to make a long post short, I've been seeing screenshots of WoW and it looks so freaking incredible. I must have this game.

So how much is it to play per month?

On a scale of 1-10 what would you rate it?

How does it stack up against Morrowind or Baldur's Gate?

$15/month, 1 free month included.

I haven't played it but I want too bad....I just do not have time between a 40 hr./week job + university classes 🙁

In high school I used to play 6 hrs. a day or more of old school TFC. Loved it.

Yes I have played many online games, from Ultima Online, to Everques,t to Anarchy Online, to Dark Age of Camelot and finally now I play Everquest 2. WoW is enjoyable, and it is a good game, however Everquest 2 is my prefered game right now.

I'm not sure if I have ever played any online game... at least I can't remember. Well, I don't play games much to begin with, pretty much only car racing.

I'm not much into questing games...

Battlefield Vietnam owns me right now...

Can't wait till battlefield 2

Maybe I should upgrade my geforce2 gts before then though 🙁

Do you mean MMORPGS? or just play games online. I'm sure almost all of us play games online in some form or another.

$15 a month or if you buy the subscription in bulk they give discounts. Well worth it. I play it FAR more than i watch TV. May watch an hour of TV at the most after i get off from school, while i spend about 6 hours a day on weedays playing WoW. Heh $15 gets a hell of a lot more entertainment in than the $80 a month spent on cable.

Only problem is that it is too effective at entertaining. You will find that WoW amuses you more than TV, Friends (unless your friends in RL play WoW also, that that case grab TeamSpeak and game with them, thank god all my friends are into it), etc. It is very addictive and dont let yourself be sucked too far in that it destroys your work.

My uncle came very close to a divorce during his peak of Everquest. He called in work sick a good bit just to play it and he did not spend anytime with his wife. She told him that she would leave him if he did not stop playing it. So he cut down for a few months and then he was back in game. She got her fill of attention in that time and is probably good for another year or so.

i play about 35 hours a week

work 40+ and still find ways to go out every week

but do miss out on a lot of sleep

1-10 scale i would rate it 9

haven't tried Morrowind but enjoyed Baldur's Gate but you can't really compare the two

but I probably enjoy WoW more

I play UT2k4 online. That's the only game I have ever played online and I would never pay a monthly fee for online play.

many other games do not cost you anything to play on line, such as Delta Force.
To each his own, th eimportant thing is to have fun.......
