I haven't been inside a gas station in years except when a receipt doesn't print right or something like that. Just about every gas station you go to these days has the credit card machines at the pump so you just pay, pump, and go.

Of course.I've also gotten back in my car, on princple, and gone elsewhere, when they didn't have pay at the pump, but most places do.

I really hate the places that don't have PatP and they make you go inside and pay before they will turn on the pump for you. Even if you are using a credit card. What a stupid way to do business.

I too have gone other places that didn't have PatP. I went to one place that was converting and some of their pumps had it and some didn't. but they weren't marked so you had to drive by each one to find the ones that had it.

If a place doesn't have PATP, I will go somewhere else, except in the case of an emergency.

I hate going into a gas station, then spending the rest of the day smelling like cigarettes and deep fried chicken.

I always use PATP so I don't have to put up with the dipsh!ts who work behind the counter I also get a receipt incase they accuse me of not paying

It always boggles my mind whenever I go get gas to see a line of people waiting to pay with cash. Get a friggin credit card and go already

same here, Acro was one of those... but now they have "pay centers" - a ATM-like machine servicing 4 gas pumps. so sometimes you still have to stand in line and wait.

I always pay at the pump, even if I plan on going inside. Why potentially have to wait in line longer than you have to?

Only for exceptional circumstances will I actually go inside to pay at the gas station. I've been paying at the pump for years and I love the convenience of it. I too get irritated when that service is not available but I don't think I've ever gotten back in my car and left the place.

My AAA credit card gives a 5% rebate for using pay at the pump, so that's what I do. Ten cents a gallon savings at today's gas prices!

Some places give a $0.03/gallon discount by paying inside and showing a Kroger card.

But, sometimes I'll pay at the pump.

Yeah, I get gas there whenever possible. Just this morning as a matter of fact.

but 90% of the time i pay at the pump. just slide it in and go! oh yeah!
