[*]They provide a link to the original thread
[*]It happens before any good discussion starts in the new thread

I don't understand why people give a damn about reposts. If its a repost and they have already seen it they can just move on to the next thread. I could see their case if maybe the entire first page was consumed with reposts but this is HARDLY the case.

I agree. Part of the problem is that a lot of people use really vague, misleading thread titles, which make it hard to avoid reposting in some instances.

 

Its only annoying if it just was posted a few days before or in some cases the next day. Or if its easy to do a search on, speaking of search, when the hell are we goign to get better search features?
