POLL: Do You Love or Hate Dave Matthews?

I used to love Dave Matthews... Key word there is used to. Their earlier work was the bomb, I used to listen to their CD atleast 10 times a day. Then their work got crappy... I bought and loved their 1st two cd's, their 3rd was ok, their 4th sucked, their 5th sucked... I'm not even gonna buy their CD's anymore untill they release good music

Dave Matthews is really a big steer if you look at what I started to grow up listening to. I think for me it's just so amazing how orchestrated that he has his music. I can listen to one of his CDs one day and pick something completely new out the next time I listen to it. To me, that has the ultimate listening value.

Most songs of his I dislike, but there are a few which are quite good. Grey Street is just so much better than prettty much every other DMB song however (IMO ).

For me I hate them but I suppose that is just displaced anger. I automatticaly associate the most common types of people I run into that "LOVE HIM, OHHH HE IS THE BEST EVAR!!!!!!!!!!!!", the type of people that I just want to shoot straight through the right eye, not the left, but the right. These were the kids in highschool that thought they were the "in crowd" and wouldn't shut up during class, had a beammer [sp?] or brand new jeep bought by mommy and daddy and so on. *hehehe more displaced anger* I have heard (I really don't ever listen to them) that he is quite talented and so on. *shrug* I think there is a lot more to music then just musical talent. Either way I like that my taste in music isn't shared by everyone else. We seem to form a tight nit group and have our own little sub-culture though I'm sure it is that way with everyone. Oh well, that was well over my allotted two cents.
