POLL: Do you like newegg's new look?

You must not be very observant... it's obvious to me 😕

Uhmmm maybe the special deal part, but that is on the main page for the holidays.....😕

I liked it better before. I don't like the tabs for specs, reviews and resources.
I thought it browsed alot easier before.

heh, I don't mind it at all. It makes them look more credible for n00bz, the tables made them look like a ghetto shop, while this (CSS?) makes them look more like Amazon.

That's a bad thing in my opinion.

The thing you have to remember is that 90% of the times when a new design is used, more than 60% of the users hate it. Why? Because people dislike change in general. If they had given an option of these two designs when newegg wwas just starting, this one could have very well been picked more in a poll.

Possibly. I really don't do my shopping on Newegg - I do my *BUYING* there. This design does disturb me in one way, however. Unlike all Newegg's previous experimentation, this one lacks an option to revert to classic mode. So it looks like this may be permanent.

I do almost all of my shopping both personally and for work (several thousands of dollars worth of business) and I HATE this format. But, I just have to get used to it because there is nothing else I can do. *sigh*

It doesn't seem as easy to scan quickly through the products I want to compare.

Indifferent.

I am sure, given enough time Newegg will also turn into a shady, lazy and no good e-retailer. Then we will make threads talking about the good old days of Newegg.

I agree with you. If it hadn't been for the recommendations, I would have thought Newegg was another shady startup.
