Poll: Do you like fixed camera survival horror games?

Games like Resident Evil HD remake, etc.

I just finished Tormented Souls but had to use a walkthrough for some puzzles and progression, and had to cheat near the end as I'd softlocked myself with no ammo or saves left.

I like the atmosphere, environment and exploration of these games, but I find the gameplay incredibly frustrating.

• I dislike how the camera constantly jumps around, makes it hard to understand room layout and makes exploration and movement artificially difficult. It's very easy to inadvertently walk around in circles in the same room.
• I dislike tank controls, but these are the only controls that work with fixed camera angles. Makes combat very clunky and annoying, especially with more than one enemy.
• I hate limited saves as this is unfair and disrespects the gamer's time. Don't have a save item left? Too bad, better not die or return to real life, or you'll be replaying the last 30 minutes.
