There is so much wrong with this I don't even know where to start. First off, gravy is nasty. If I ever had the desire to eat gravy I'd just mainline some suet instead and get life over with. Second, 'chipped beef'?!? How the hell do you 'chip' beef? That just makes no sense. It's not like a block of ice where you can chip pieces off of it. If the people who make it can't come up with a better adjective than a physical impossibility, I don't wanna eat it. Third, ahh.... it's just not worth it.

I've never heard of creamed chipped beef. I'm having trouble even imagining WTF it is and I'm too lazy to Google. I do like toast though so

That looks disgusting and incredibly delicious at the same time.

It wont win marks for presentation, but I'm sure it makes up for it in taste. :)

heh. My parents used to make it every now and then for a quick and easy dinner, but always called it Dry Beef Milk Gravy. Looking back, it was basically SoS, just had never heard the term at the time.

Haven't had it for dinner in awhile, but I absolutely love Biscuits and Sausage Gravy for breakfast. :)
The chow hall I had to use recently had just about the best Biscuits and Gravy I've ever had. I want to know how they do it. :)

I don't think I ever saw biscuits and gravy at the chow hall in Fort Gordon. Jerks.

Chipping is the process. It's like corning beef. It's a means to cook/preserve beef, like jerky.

Have you honestly never seen luncheon meat? Chipped beef is a normal lunch meat in the store.

-edit-
And what kind of person doesn't like gravy?
