Poll: do you like Christmas?

Christmas is great when I'm at home with my parents. I wasn't at home with my parents last year and had to spend the day with my in-laws. Worst. Christmas. Ever.

In short, it depends on the situation.
 
I like spending time with family, but hate the logistics of travel and present-buying. I really have to get psyched up to get in the car for a long trip knowing every other yoyo in North America is doing the same thing.
 
I love Christmas.. and its not because i get gifts. I love being with family and GIVING gifts.. half the time im so anxious to surprise them with a present that i cant even wait until xmas day.
 
Christmas is the bomb, yo!

Even though I'm pretty much non-religious, I love Christmas! I like the cooler weather, and the receiving and buying of gifts. And the lights. And the turkey. Not the eggnog.
 
I like Christmas, but I've decided that my FAVORITE holiday is Thanksgiving. Why? Food, football, and Black Friday.

I want to rename November. New name: Turkuary.

Even though I'm not a meterosexual (and therefore averse to shopping) I still love Christmas. Time off work, get to see friends and family a lot, time off work, giving/receiving gifts, time off work, bowl games, time off work, great food and time off work.
 
I love putting a bunch of presents under the tree and seeing my kid's expressions on Christmas morning. I have half the fun buying stuff for my boys...but my daughter is very hard to buy for so she's more difficult.
What I don't like: Wrapping presents = Yuck. Also, it's a real drain on the budget but it's a happy time of year.
 
I love christmas.
I love seeing how excited my kids get.
I scored pretty low on the Metrosexual test. But I do love shopping.
 
I get annoyed very quickly with Christmas. First off, I hate just about every Xmas song there is. I hate being in stores hearing the music. I hate not being able to get home in 15 minutes from work because there's so much traffic. I hate not being able to drive over to Walmart to pickup something without it taking an hour. On top of that, there's office parties and crap you have to attend. You have to buy gifts for people, when it'd be much easier to just buy yourself something instead.

BTW, I don't have kids, so there just isn't much in it for me.
 
Christmas is great because I get to spend time with and see my relatives. It's the only time of year that I get to (except for the thing mentioned in my signature). The presents I could care less about - it's being able to take a week to two weeks off and just relax with family
 
I'm very indifferent towards the holiday, although I still do the gift thing, just to be nice for once. 😉 Last year me and my friend went to the mall to pick up a few gifts, and while standing in line at a store, I said... "I hate buying christmas presents...it isn't like it's someone's birthday." My friend quickly replied, "it's jesus' birthday you jackass". pwned!

He was kidding of course, neither of us are religious. 😛

LOL, NOT!

It is in reality a pagan celebration of the winter Solstice, complete with pagan traditions, Trees lights etc. The Christians adapted it because they couldn't get the peasants to stop celebrating it.
