Personally I hate giving and getting gifts. I don't like big parties and I don't like going places on Christmas. I think it should be quiet and personal.

My family doesn't seem to feel this way.

What do you think?
 
When I was a child, I enjoyed christmas much more..woke up before everyone else. I thought presents were so awesome. Now, I am the last one to wake up....and I don't care about the presents much.

I agree.

However, I do love to see a person's reaction when they open a gift from me. I try very hard to make sure it's something they'll like. Seeing their expression is worth it to me.

Giving. That's Christmas.

I like my Christmas like I like my women...
warm and giving with big bags of fun for me to unwrap and play with until 3 or 4 in the morning.
 
I use to love christmas when I had the cash to buy presents eveyone actually enjoyed. Like Smoochy said, the enjoyment on their faces is great. Now I scrounge around & give crummy gifts just like everyone else. They do it because they're lazy, I'm just broke.

The food is always good, & there's always an endless supply of kids to dress up as santa for. I'm not doing that again though, too freeking hot in that suit.

Well why don't you just explain to them that they are white trash and you would rather not spend time with them during the holidays. I'm sure they will realize that someone of your stature can?t be seen mingling with them and excuse you from further participation.

As soon as I turn 18 I will never see them again so I've got that going for me.

Nothing really. I just grew up.

It might be fun to get gifts for little kids, but the youngest person where I'm going to be is 15, and I'm not related to that one or half of the people that will be there.

I just don't like big, loud Chistmases, especially with people that I'm not related to.
