Poll: Do you know how to tie a tie?

I don't know how to tie a tie. I still use a tie someone tied for me 5 years ago that I still havn't untied. I am pathetic.

It's easier than tying shoelaces, IMO. Just get someone to show you and practice. It'll become second nature.

What's REALLY embarrassing is if your g/f knows how to tie one and you don't, and she has to show you.

you gotta look good for the ladies... learn how to tie a freaking tie... sooner or later that one tie you have will become one of those decade old out of style ugly ties....

also its like the only part of male formal wear that you can be creative with!

I have no clue.
I don't wear them unless its a very special occasion or event.
All the ties I have are already tied and will remain so.

Thank goodness I don't have to wear one on a regular basis, course if I did I'd probably know how to tie one.

i only wear a tie for one of 3 reasons:

1- wedding (going to one tonight, its going to suck)

2- funeral (haven't been to one in a long time)

3- job interview (hopefully won't be doing that for a long time)

I had to wear one for a year at work. I can wear shorts and a T-shirt now if I'm inclined.
