C'DaleRiderSounds like insurance woes keep you up at night But I agree with being well insured, especially for cars. I don't carry the state minimum either, since it's a joke. I carry well above it, and I'm all about the low deductible. A lot of people have a $1k deductible. How much would that suck if your car is written off AND you're out $1k? Badly for me, so I have a $250. Insurance is like AAA. You hope you don't have to use it, but if you do have to use it you're gonna thank yuor lucky stars you have it and in the case of my insurance I'd be glad I have a low deductible and high coverages.
