Ive been noticing a lot of people are having reboot problems with their rigs and was wondering if it may be caused by the fact that theyre power supply does not supply => 2 amp on the + 5 volt rail to their motherboard?
If any of you guys are having any reboot problems with your current rig would be grateful if you could check the sticker on the side of your PSU and see what the rating for the +5 volt rail is and please vote in my poll in the hope that we may be able to see if there is a pattern in this problem.
If you could also post the make and model of your PSU would be much appreciated :)

Thanx,

rockhard =)

EDIT: Please can you guys please also put in any posts what voltage your +5 volt shows as in the bios and from within windows.
Thanx :)

Enermax 465. I think it has less than 2a...

BIOS shows 4.87v plus or minus a little.

This PSU worked fine on my AMD Tbird/EPoX 8K7A system. Soe people seem to have issues with this setup but I never did.

It's working fine on my OC'ed P4 1.8A system now. I had reboot issues with my Gigabyte 8IRXP board but I ditched it and got an Asus P4B266 which works flawlessly (except for the temp reading issue).
