POLL: Do you have internet access while you're in a ICS/Computer class?

My first day of ICS class internet was available. Fast forward to last week and this. Our internet is down basically. I can only browse sites that are on the intranet of my school. Those sites include our main homepage, and our homepages. That's about it.

For the past three semesters that I've been going to this school our internet has always been on while a class is being taught.

I take CS AP and we get internet access, but its hea vily filtered so sometimes we can't even send e-mails. Its not even worth trying to surf on them, it takes forever, not to mention netscape 2 or something...

Lucky you. The last computer I logged onto at school the other day had, among various P2P apps, six data miners, and after summoning the prof and firing up SpyBot S&D, turned up a few dozen pr0nsite tracker cookies.

With the offender's login name (which is also the email address) stored inside. Prof took a note of it and went to see the sysadmin.

By coincidence, I haven't seen that student since then.

Yes I do and we also have wireless in many of the classrooms. I'm looking at a future purchase of a Dell Axim, just waiting for a deal.
