I was just thinking that I don't have any geek friends IRL.

All of my friends hate me for spending so much time on the computer

I have a few others actually. One who is really into hardware like me and another who is into software.

hehe...I usually am a little more openly nerdy, but in my personality, it comes across a little better than your out-and-out ubergeek. I have my purely social friends and then my older friends that share my other personal interests.

So the other day I spent 270 bucks on a 120gb hd xp2500 and 256ddr400 corsair , my friends are like "Why the fvck did you do that?"

well, it isn't because i am especially ugly or anything

it is more because i only go to work and home, home->work, work->home

i guess i am sorta friends with my co-workers, but not like they come over and hang out type friends

whatever, i have a family of friends

one of my friends used to ask "wire you insulate" rather than why are u so late. so, is he geek?

Nope, not really. The only geeks I know are extremely weird. It's one thing to be all into computers, but these people are just complete freaks. I would love to have more geek friends, but sadly I do not know of any normal ones. Maybe they are all just in stealth mode.

no geek friends here...........actually just 1 distant friend..........one of em is gonna goto princeton but has no clue about computers and needs me to help him out a lot...........second is football player

i wished i had geek friends...it gets so boring talking to people about my interests (computers/cars) who don't have a clue as to what i'm saying. Just got a job at the campus computer lab (this campus is mainly engineering, which means lots of azn chicks...woohoo)
