No.

And unlike most guys here, I have actually had SEX! ;)

Ok I didn't see crabs on the list. However crabs / scabies is NOT a STD!

It should be noted that people who get cold sores/fever blisters have an STD (a form of herpes).

And thankfully, I have no STDs whatsoever.

uh? theres nothing to be "proud" of. you either like sleeping with multiple females or you dont.. and then even if you do, you still have to actually do it. but i do enjoy my personal sex life.

Well thanks to my father I was BORN with the pre disposition for cold sores, so I guess you could say it WAS sexually transmitted. Though I never got them from being sexually active myself!

Yep. I honestly can't remember a year when I didn't get at least one cold sore and I've been getting them long before I was ever sexually active.

Scary shite!

Research indicates that HPV is THE MOST COMMON sexually transmitted disease. An estimated 75 percent of the reproductive-age population has been infected with sexually transmitted HPV. There is no cure for the disease.

In the current study, men will be followed for two years to determine how many become infected with HPV, what risk factors are associated with infection, and how quickly they recover.

HPV can lead to penile and anal cancers in men and cervical, vulvar, and anal cancers in women. HPV can also cause genital warts in both sexes. However, many people who contract HPV have no symptoms of the disease. HPV can be passed through anal, oral, and vaginal sex and through
skin-to-skin contact. Condoms do not offer protection against HPV as they do with other sexually transmitted diseases

Skin to Skin, WTF, you can get STD's from shaking hands now???

Does anyone here think the people who voted for hiv/aids are just joking or are serious?

You usually have to have open skin(cut/open wound). I used to have non-genital warts when I was about 7 years old all over my hands. I had hundred of them since my skin would crack then they would spread through the cracks. And then one by one they disapeared by age 9 been waty free and luckily free of them ever since.

Heh, I know and what I get are definately cold sores.

Just so people ARE careful...

if you get a sore on your lip, you have herpes.

If you have herpes, and you perform oral sex on someone, THEY can (and will) get herpes. Not only when you have a breakout, you can shed the virus when you don't have a breakout.

Yeah. You have to be real careful. You kinda learn what triggers the virus to activate.
