It is a good idea to stick to one pet name like "babe". That way you reduce the risk of calling the current SO by the name of a previous SO.

I think there was a poll similar to this a week ago.

I call her by her name.

She calls me by my real name :Q No one calls me Mark, everyone I know calls me Deeko.

Although I'm not sure how much long we will hold the "signifigant other" status.

Rumblebelly. Her stomach is constantly growling, and she could out belch a drunken sailor.

I think telling MrsSkoorb about ATOT was the biggest mistake you've ever made in your life! :D:D:D

I rarely call my wife by her first name, and she rarely calls me by my first name. We always call each other "babe," "baby," or "sweetie." Pretty simple. It feels weird when I call her by her first name...

theres got to be a story

To my nickname? Well, Deeko, in itself, means nothing. In elementary school, I was EXTREMELY short. Hence, I earned the nickname "Dinky Davis". I started having some growth spurts in jr. high, so Dinky didn't make a whole lot of sense, so slowly, over the course of 8th grade, "Dinky" evolved into "Deeko" (Dinky, Dink, Dinko, Diko, Deeko, something along those lines), and Deeko stuck ever since.
