I have one, but I haven't used it in years. The university library is better anyway.

I borrowed a coupla magazines from the library last evening. My house is worth 500K plus(that is what the real estate person told me) and I can't afford no personal library in there. Luckily, the public library is located about a half mile from where I live.

Of course!

Only 3% of americans have a library-card :Q?! My god! In Finland the people who don't have one are the exception to the rule. Just about everyone has one here!

<< my library has dvds:p can't beat free, course the good ones are ussually gone, but the selection is surprisingly good. >>

You can't beat free CD/DVD rentals from the library! I've seen homeless people hang out there reading/surfing the web all the time.

Have since I was six or seven. I even got a special dispensation to take out more than the alloted amount. Kid's cards could only take out like 3 or 4 books a week, but I was always in there, and I always read everything I borrowed, so they let me take out as many as I wanted. I loved the library. Haven't been in a while, though, cause I just buy books now. I have WAY too many.

A book a day when I'm at home. I volunteered for a while because I was there often enough to see how understaffed they were. Now I'm at college, not enough time to read like I want.

I haven't been in a non-university library in at least a decade, and I can't see I'll ever enter one again. Perhaps I should...but I only like new books for the most part and I read slow enough or infrequently enought that it doesn't cost me a fortune.
