I consider a floppy drive indispensable for quick execution of a number of diagnostic programs. While 'old tech', I consider it the most effective $10 investment in any PC.
Using an Antec Aria so there is no room for one. I don't really miss it, the only time I needed one was during the initial install OS when I had to install the SATA drivers.
Actually, they are optional on most of thier systems now. I have a floppy drive, and I almost had two but then I relised I could only plug one into the mobo.
