I voted yes, because my dad flies an American flag in the front yard, and the California state flag in the backyard.. (come to think of it, why is "front yard" two words, while "backyard" is one word?)

On Easter, I have an easter bunny flag. On Halloween, I have a pumpkin flag. It all depends on the time of year.

if you don't vote, you deserve flag confiscation

So paying taxes bears no weight on society?

paying taxes does not make a democracy. you can pay taxes under a tyrant. remember, no taxation without representation. if you don't vote, and pay taxes, your just a moron that has no right to complain.

Yes, On weekends and appropriate occasions also. Durring the summer I have the flag up everyday.

We use to have one up but we took it down when we painted the house and forgot to put it back up.

That is retarded. I hate HOA's. My dad has a flag pole up back home in MN but we do not have a flag up here.

We hang an American flag on our home. We also helped start the HOA. We had the guy across the street put up a 30 foot flag pole in the front yard with the Confederate Battle flag. What do you think that would do to our Home Values? Do you still think HOA'a are retarded?

No. I live in America, so why should I need a flag...kind of redundant if you ask me;)

I only wear "branding" when I'm in "hostile" or "unfamiliar" territory to show people who I am (or to piss people off:p). Like when I'm at UNC or Duke, I always have on a NC State shirt and hat...but if I'm on campus, I rarely wear NC State stuff.

I am fairly certain that this would be struck down as a first amendment violation.

No, but if I did ot wouldn't be an American flag. It would probably be a pirate flag or something funny.

I'm from the south and many would consider me pretty damn left. When I was a boy I was taught to consider the flag reverently as a living symbol of the United States. Literally living as in living, breathing representation of our nation, because of that it disturbs me greatly to see the abundance of mishung and neglected flags. It sullies the honor of the flag.

For the love of our country if you are flying the flag learn to do it correctly.
