Reason I'm asking is because the January issue of Computer Gaming World came with a DVD rather than a CD packed with 5 complete games all free. Apparently people wrote in complaining they couldn't use any of them because they didn't have a DVD-ROM drive. Are people REALLY this far behind current technology? Is it really such a problem to pick up a DVD-ROM drive for $27 or even cheaper if you check local sale ads for deals with mail in rebates? Why don't people have DVD-ROM drives? I want more software to come on DVD's rather than the 4 CD's that Flight 2004 and Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic... lets step into the 21st century people, GET A DVD-ROM!!!
