Do you hate it when. People call A desktop or a laptop a CPU or a hard drive. Or other things!

Also when you ask how much ram they have they say like 80gigibytes. Then you say it is impossible and they go well I do and that you don?t know anything.

Or
When people randomly come up to you(like people you know but don?t talk to you) Say that there dell Is better then your computer

Or

When you say you build computers they think there smart and start saying do you use dell parts, HP parts, Gateway parts.

or

When they go in to denial about what you said and that your wrong and there 100% correct.

But They dont know SH!T so we cant really blame them. But still.

I hate it when. People ask me questions about computers, thinking I work in IT. I do not!

they are just ignorant about computers. it does not mean they are stupid, and it does not really bother me, so no.

I think they call the chassis a Hard Drive almost as much as a cpu. I voted yes because it bugs me, but I don't hate it.

Yes! I also hate it when people ask me "How many megahertz" or "how many gigs" does your computer have?

Not hate, but its just annoying as the person who asks it has nothing to relate it too as they have no understanding of a CPU.

EX:

Me: Amd Athlon64 at 2200mhz

Person: 2200mhz!?!?!..............................................................cool

Not as much as I hate people that can't properly grasp the concept that an AMD MHz isn't the same thing as an Intel MHz

haha i was going to say that, but i forgot in the writing process lol.

I hate it when people write half of a thread title, leaving it vague and useless. I only clicked in to see if that's what the question was, after reinforcing my irony meter.

i honestly had this said to me tonight by a guy trying to figure out what he needed to network 2x comps and an Xbox he sais

"i need a wire to go from my cable to my dsl so i can play my xbox" i shot myself and am now recovering quite nicely

i hate it when they call a desktop computer a modem

I have 160lbs of "flat screen's" on my desk right now

"flat screen"

My GF insists on calling LCD's flat screens and every time she says it, I never make the connection to LCD because I remember when flat screen CRT's were a big deal.

I also hate the term flat panel b/c it too is really vague... at least its not as vague as "flat screen"

No.

I realize what I sound like when I talk about cars, so I understand what it's like to have to discuss something that you don't understand.
