POLL:: Do you get along with your neighbors?

our neighbors are inconsiderate, loud, obnoxious, animal-abusing, asswipes, etc. The 2 kids that the people have are the worst ones, followed by the mom, then the dad.

Depends on the neighbor. I get along really well with most of them, but one a few doors down from me is so racist it makes my stomach churn. :disgust:
 
my wife doesn't like them, so i avoid them

next house we live in will be in a more rural/secluded area, so that we have less neighbors
 
I don't even know my neighbors' names. None of them. I know the dog's name because they yell it at him sometimes. His name is Burt, so I just call them "The Burts". Well, I do know one of my neighbors a little bit, but I knew him before he was my neighbor. I don't like people.

Been here 27+ years.
I get along pretty well with most of the neighbors.
I think it's like most other things, you get out of it just about what you put into it.
 
Yes, I/we do. Getting along with your neighbors is a two way road. Those of you who criticize your neighbors are probably just as irritating to them.

My neighbor across the street would be cool with me if he'd stop parking his huge SUV in front of my house when his driveway is empty. If he has to do it, he could at least not block me in.

Other neighbors never say anything. This isn't a friendly town.
 
I get along pretty good with my neighbors, but my 8.2 speakers setup (2 x Promedia 4.1) sometimes annoys them when things start to fall off the walls...😉
 
Got along with ALL my neighbors just fine for 18 years, then this one moved in. More recently she took to driving on the lawn. She's a single parent whose mother raised her kid. The mother is currently trying to get custody. She's had run ins with the law due to her drinking problem. Lost her driver's license at least once. She paid too damn much for her house, which raised all of our taxes a bit.

I renovated the house next door on the other side. Sold it to a delightful young couple for less than I could have to an old curmudgeon. It was worth taking less money to have an agreeable neighbor instead!
