The reason why it hurts is because you aren't flossing daily.
That is true only if you have normally spaced teeth. Read my post above. I can floss daily for a year and then switch to a different floss brand and floss and it would be one of the most painful experiences of my life.

yes, GLIDE is the absolute best. It does not get stuck, it does not drag, and does not cause pain. It works wonders everyday pulling out all that food particle stuck in your teeth. If you don't floss, you'll never know that they are there. And they'll cause some mean bad breath.

I have recently gotten back into the habit. Plus I have a dentist appt/cleaning coming up and I don't want my gums to bleed like a stuck pig.

***Edit***

I floss every time I brush, btw.

I try to once a day but I think my GF stole my floss for some reason I haven't seen it for a week... I'm sad =( Mostly cause I love the way my teeth feel after flossing.

Wow that is a really even split. I just can't get into that whole flossing lifestyle, exudes too much health for me.

Which kind of flossing? no i dont floss my teeth and yes i would be flossing my ice, rims, rides, gear....but i dont have any🙁

I need to get in the habit of flossing. I'll check out that glide floss.

As a random piece of info from my dentist's office, it only takes a week for gums to stop bleeding after daily flossing.

My favorite Christmas present this year was a Sonicare. While we're on the topic of oral hygene, anyone else use one? I love mine.
