POLL: Do you floss your teeth every day?

let me put it to you this way: people who are too lazy to floss once/24 hours will have interproximal tooth decay and gum disease in their future.

ummmm.....yeah, now i do sice last time i went to the dentist i had 14 cavities, all between the teeth. im 26 and never had a single cavity before that visit.

i've never flossed in my life and i've never had a single cavity/gum disease/decay problem, i'm 21 now...so i really don't buy into that at all...i brush at least once (usually twice) a day is all...

EDIT: i get a clean/flouride/floss/whatever the fvck the dental hygenist lady does every six months...

Toothpicks are good for getting out stuck food and don't accidentally cut my gums.

This is the sole reason I'm posting this, I cut my gums last night and I can feel it behind my tooth. It feels really strange to say the least.

I think as you get older, into your 30s, 40s and perhaps 50s, no flossing will eventually lead to some type of gum disease. Same here though, I'm 23 and I never have cavaties and nor do I floss my teeth everyday.

whatever 😉

I never floss. Never really liked doing it, and I figured (at a young age) that people have been living just fine for centuries before the advent of peppermint-flavored string used to get crap out of your teeth. My teeth aren't all that great, but I don't have any cavities. Heck, I've gone months without brushing, although I try to brush at least once a day now, preferably twice.

It's true that people didn't floss before it was invented (heh), but it's also true that before floss and other types of modern dental hygenic products that people had lost a majority of their teeth by the time they were middle aged.

Oh, and people's gums bleed for one of two reasons when they floss (generally): either your gums are weak (floss helps to toughen them up and this helps prevent other tooth problems in the future) or there is bacteria present (which the floss will remove).

Floss, FTW.

Poll's reading less than 20 percent so far, so maybe we'll all have gum disease. It's not that I'm lazy... it's that I just don't care. And I'm lazy too.
