Inspired by a post in the Christmas Tree Lights thread...

THey aren't that expensive, and it takes freaking forever to find out which bulb might be the one making the whole string not work. I just chuck them and buy more.

i have spent time in the past trying to fix them. that sh1t is wack.

CostCo usually has sets on for pretty cheap - and if you know how to work the system, you can sometimes even exchange your POS set from the previous year for a brand-spanking-new set. w00t for one and all.

but... i try not to mess with "little things" like this. i usually lose control and fling things like a little baby.
 
I would normally do that if they were the old style lights... but now since they are all LED, you just don't have that problem.
 
Most set these days will still work if one bulb goes out. So its not really too bad to figure out the one that doesn't work.
