Do you file your own tax return?

EDIT: Can H&R Block's - trained in an hour - staff be classified as accountants?

Turbotax.com is what I used last year, the first time I had to do my own taxes (was in college prior to that).

I've been using e-file (read: TurboTax Web) for the last three years.

I'm only 20 now, so that is most of my tax paying history.

first year I did it on Turbo tax online, but could not file it as I worked in a different state than I lived.
But I knew roughly I would get a refund of $700

So I went to H&R Block......got some moron.....worked out that I had to pay $200

I got them to recheck it and this time it came out closer to the $700 refund......but if I had not known what to expect, I would be down by $900......you are supposed to trust these people???

I came close to failing accounting. But I do write checks and pay my own bills! Yeah baby!

My mommy does my taxes.

I usually do my own, but my best friend is a CPA, so if I run into anything I can't figure out, I have free tax help built in.

:D
