Poll: Do you ever follow directions and close all programs when installing software?

To my best recollection, I don't think I ever have closed all of my programs in order to install a new one.

Sometimes, when I'm installing something that relates to a program that's already running. Most times I just close that program, though.

For drivers and some utilities, yes.

For games and other apps, I'll typically leave AIM or TeamSpeak/Ventrilo on.

Depends on the program, I'll leave Firefox running but probably not something like a game/Photoshop/other "heavy" program
