Poll: Do you ever feel this way?...

Do you ever feel that even though you give your as$ for your friends....meaning you put them before you.....you do everything you can to help them......yet in the end, you're friends treat you like sh!t and they just take you for granted and everything. Like they think what you do is nothing "special", when in fact it is, and yet they don't do the same in return. You often times wonder if they truley care about you.

Do you guys ever feel this way? Share your stories if you wish

No. I have found a few true friends who I treat with respect and they treat me with the same respect.

Yeah...one of my two best friends gets like that from time to time. He is very selfish and doesn't realize the things I do for him sometimes. But I knock him down and chew his ass out when he doesn't respect me.

At least he realizes he does know that he needs to change. I try to set him straight when I can. I want him to be a better person because he can never keep a girlfriend.

The other one is very considerate but very moody...I never know what he's thinking.

But to answer your question, YES!! I do wonder.

I used to feel this way, till I just learned to say NO when people that you know will not appreciate it, ask for a favor. They will find someone else to abuse, dont allow them to do it to you.

I have gotten rid of so many friends who tried to take advantage. Now I have a few that I can trust, and I like it this way

Yes sometimes, but lately I have been so preoccupied by a certain lady friend they have all but dissapeared in my daily routine.

But I classify those people just a little more than aquaitances.
Thus, I have very few friends. That doesnt really mean we dont hang out like frinds, but I think a friend [there should only be true friends, everyone else is not really a friend] should realize what you do and they should do the same in return.

yes, but I learned that if I stop helping these so-called friends, they fall on their sorry, lazy a$$es. hard to do though ... sigh ...

Yes, but not to that extreme. Its more like I try to be friendly but I get disrespect in return. I just try to be the better man though, keep trying to be nice, because even if it continues for a little while, I will know in the end that I was a friend.
